Where To Make A Hair Mask With Aloe Vera?

Aloe Vera is a favorite ingredient of both the hair and beauty industry. We are not unaware of how beneficial the plant leaf is and its oozing translucent goodness which works wonders for us. It’s scientific proof that aloe vera not only works for our exterior but also works wonders internally as it helps in improving digestion and liver functions.

Rubbing aloe vera’s gel into your scalp and roots doesn’t just hydrate and condition your scalp but also lets your hair follicle improve your damage and dry hair. It also provides nutrition like vitamin C, A, and E which contributes to cell growth and gives a lustrous shine to your hairs.

Hair masks with aloe vera for different hair textures:

For normal hairs:    

Since your hair doesn’t require any treatment for damage or reducing frizziness, so just for the nutritional boost you all need aloe vera juice.

Procedure:

  • Scoop out the pulp from the leaf.
  • Mixer blend it well. 
  • Strain the juice with a sieve to remove all the debris of the leaf.   
  • Keep it in a glass. This mask can be stored up to 2 weeks if kept under cold environment.   

Apply this only on the day you want to wash your hairs and massage it well in your skin.

For dry hairs: 

The mask perfect for dry hair should be rejuvenating in nature for this a mask mix of aloe vera, yogurt, and olive oil is recommended. The goodness of aloe vera, yogurts conditioning property, and olive oil richness will all work in harmony with each other in this ratio.

Procedure:

  • Scoop the pulp out and three tablespoons of it in a mixing bowl.  
  • In addition to this add 2 tablespoons of yogurt in the same mixing bowl.       
  • And the end, add a tablespoon of olive oil.    

You should apply this all over your hairs and scalp and massage thoroughly for about 10-15 minutes and wash it. Avoid washing hairs with shampoo immediately and air dry your hair.

For thin hair:

The problem of thin hair is very common, for this castor oil is one of the most recommended remedies. Castor oil is known to have properties leading to the thickening of hairs.


Procedure:

  • In a bowl take three to four spoons of aloe vera.
  • Add a tablespoon of castor oil. In the same bowl.    

Apply the mask on the scalp up to the hair roots. Keep the mask in for 20-25 minutes, followed by shampooing with a mild shampoo.

For oily scalp/oily hairs:

Having oily hair is a big letdown when you just washed your hair just a day before. The mattifying properties of lemon not only remove the oil from hairs but also nourish the hairs.

Procedure:

  • Take a bowl to add few drops of lemon juice.
  • In the same bowl add 2-3 tablespoons of aloe vera gel.    
  • To add some anti-infection properties add tea tree oil to the mixture     in the bowl.    

Leave it on for a good 20-25 minutes and wash with a paraffin and duplicate free shampoo.


For dandruff: 

Hair mask with aloe vera and apple cider vinegar.

Procedure:

  • Take a mixing bowl add a 2 or 3 tablespoons aloe vera gel. 
  • Apple cider vinegar should be added in a tablespoon in the same mixing bowl.   
  • Apply it for 20 minutes on your scalp and your hair strands top to bottom.

Aloe Vera mask with coconut oil:

This is the most wholesome mask with goodness of the both the ingredients. In this mask, there is not only the goodness of aloe vera but also the goodness of coconut oil. Coconut oil can reduce your frizziness and make them stronger.

Procedure:

  • Add  two tablespoons of the gel in a mixing bowl.   
  • In the same bowl add one tablespoon of coconut oil.
  • Apply the mask with your fingers in a soothing way. The first scalp then     the roots.
  • Cover the hairs with a shower cap or a plastic wrap, it helps from drying     the hair out.
  • Leave it on for a good 25-30 minutes or 45-60 minutes, it only helps in     the conditioning.  
  • Rinse the mask out since it has both oily or oil-based make sure you rinse them properly otherwise there is a possibility of aloe vera leaving a film around the scalp.

You can use this mask as your regular conditioner or use it once a week     to give the nutrient boost it needs.
